Methodology

How we turn a match into a decision.

A pick is the end of the process, not the beginning.

1. Current information

We gather recent performance, injuries, suspensions, surface or venue context, schedule, tactical factors and relevant market-specific data.

2. Matchup analysis

Raw numbers are interpreted in context. Styles, opponent strength and situational factors matter as much as headline statistics.

3. Probability estimate

We form an estimated probability for the relevant outcome or market rather than treating bookmaker odds as truth.

4. Market comparison

We compare our estimate with the implied market probability. A good prediction can still be a bad bet at the wrong price.

5. Risk assessment

Variance, data quality, uncertainty and market type are considered before any stake or recommendation.

6. Decision

Bet, pass or monitor. “No bet” is a valid output when the edge is too small or the evidence is weak.

Core principle: value is not about predicting every winner. It is about consistently seeking prices that may be better than the underlying probability suggests.
